Join us for our last Women4Women happy hour and networking event of the year to hear from two women who have discovered how to turn their artistic work into their career.  Rachel Shaw owns a franchise, AR Workshop Garland, a boutique arts and crafts workshop.  Nital Patel is a painter who owns a studio and gallery, Nita Patel Fine Art. We'll hear their stories about the pleasures and pitfalls of doing what they love on a daily basis.

Nita Patel is a 8x’s bestselling author, who left corporate after 20 years in healthcare technology, completed her masters in Industrial-Organizational Psychology at Harvard and is now exploring her creative life. She has a love for art and has shown her work at Le Louvre in Paris, International Museum of Modern Art in Torino,Italy among other amazing venues.  Her mission is “Healing the World Through Art”.



 
AR Workshop Garland is a boutique DIY studio offering hands-on classes creating custom, charming home décor from raw materials.  Join an instructor-led workshop where you can make custom wood signs, framed signs, DIY décor; pallet sign painting, farmhouse style canvas, and pillow painting, kids workshops and parties, centerpiece boxes, lazy susans, cake stands, round wood signs, chunky blankets and much more!  We will help you take your home décor to the next level and have fun while creating it! AR Workshop Garland is owned and operated by a mother-daughter duo of Rachel Shaw and Claudia Gonzalez.  Both have had a love of crafts throughout their lives, and have completed many projects using substrates such as canvas, wood, ceramics, and metal.
