Speaker: Trisha Cunningham,
president and CEO, North Texas Food Bank
When the pandemic hit, the North Texas Food Bank instituted immediate and sweeping changes to its operations that allowed the organization to not only sustain its support, but to significantly increase food assistance at a time when it was needed more than ever. Essentially flipping its business model to allow for efficient and safe distribution, the Food Bank has provided access to more than 130 million meals since the pandemic began. Implementing such comprehensive change required Trisha to guide the organization in staying nimble among an ever-evolving landscape. Trisha will talk about the hunger needs in North Texas, the Food Bank’s crisis response, and how her own leadership has adapted to the changing circumstances. Sharing five leadership lessons she has leaned into along the way and the Food Bank’s plans for the future, Trisha will shine a light on the critical issue of hunger and the leadership strategies that apply to all organizations going through significant change.
