Dementia: An Upbeat Educational Talk
Featuring Sarah Conner
Today, more than five million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia. Sarah Conner, Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), not only has had members of her family suffer from this disease but works with families daily on how to better understand and communicate with their loved one who have dementia. In this upbeat, interactive presentation - Sarah will talk about the whats, whys, and ways to better understand and communicate with someone who has dementia.
The Richardson Chamber has formed a new networking group for the purpose of bringing together organizations and people who can connect with each other and provide referrals, education and support for the senior population of our community.
The members will cover a large number of service providers from senior living needs i.e, real estate, assisted living, estate planning and much more.
