The holiday season is often described as the season of giving, but for many people it can become a season of stress, overspending, and guilt. In this presentation, Traci Steelman will share practical strategies for approaching both personal gift-giving and charitable giving with intention, helping attendees create meaningful experiences without sacrificing their financial well-being.

Attendees will learn how understanding the love languages of family and friends can inspire more thoughtful and affordable gifts. Traci will also discuss alternative gift ideas that can create a lasting impact, including savings contributions, bonds, investment accounts for children, and charitable donations made in honor of others. Charitable organizations need both volunteers and financial supporters, and sometimes the most meaningful gift may be serving alongside someone you love.

Finally, she will address the pressure many people feel to do more, spend more, and be more during the holidays. Participants will leave with a simple framework for giving with purpose, staying within their budget, supporting causes they care about, and enjoying the season without regret.
