The IQ Brew is a networking and educational series featuring short presentations from entrepreneurs, small businesses and subject -matter experts. The goal of the IQ Brew is to share lessons learned and to have the Richardson business community hear about the successes and challenges faced while starting and growing a business. Come join us for coffee and conversation every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month.
On Thursday, August 11, The IQ® Brew will feature Clarence Bethea, founder and Executive Chairman of St. Paul based, Upsie, a venture-backed tech company disrupting the extended warranty industry. Betha has raised $30m from some of the top venture firms in the country including True Ventures, Samsung, Avanta (AAA), Techstars, Matchstick Ventures, Bread & Butter Ventures and other notable firms. He’s been written about in fast company, Entrepreneur, TechCrunch, MPR and many more. Clarence is a committed mentor to entrepreneurs and young people who are seeking a career path in business and entrepreneurship.
