The IQ Brew is a networking and educational series featuring short presentations from entrepreneurs, small businesses and subject -matter experts.  The goal of the IQ Brew is to share lessons learned and to have the Richardson business community hear about the successes and challenges faced while starting and growing a business.  Come join us for coffee and conversation every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month.  

On Thursday, July 28, The IQ® Brew will feature Evan Batt, Co-Owner of Richardson-based Lockwood Distilling Company. Evan is an experienced entrepreneur with a demonstrated history of working in the beer and spirits industry. He is a strong entrepreneurship professional skilled in marketing management, spirits, market planning, consumer products, and beverage industry. Evan has been in the alcohol business since graduating from Texas A&M University in ’03. He’s worked on the distribution side, supplier side, and manufacturing side of both global and local brands. After trying his hand in most sides of the industry, his favorite is growing brands and finding a connection between brands and consumers. While Evan loves to work, he enjoys playing guitar and goofing off with his two red-headed kids even more.
