Extended Reality (XR): The New Reality for Business
We are on the threshold of a compelling, expansive and imagination-inspiring time in which our experiences and our reality will be extended through the merging of the physical and virtual world, fundamentally changing the way we live, work and play.
Extended Reality (XR), which includes Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and newly-developed immersive technologies, connects and engages customers at deeper, more meaningful levels. It helps employees improve their productivity and performance, and it creates entirely new ways for people to experience the world around them.
Worldwide spending on XR is forecast to reach $17.8 billion in 2018, and worldwide spending on XR products and services will continue to grow at a similar rate through 2021. Extended Reality is poised to disrupt modern businesses by means of offering customers an immersive experience in ultra-personalized convenience. This is not science fiction – this is the new reality.
This Disruption Series event will examine the various forms of Extended Reality and what business leaders need to know about the blurring of lines between the digital and physical worlds. Event will conclude with hands-on product demos.
