Celestial Celebration: Music, Art, and Technology
Make plans now to enjoy a one-night only performance based on a collaboration between the Richardson Symphony Orchestra (RSO) and the School of Arts, Technology, and Emerging Communication (ATEC) at the University of Texas at Dallas.
“Celestial Celebration: Music, Art, and Technology,” features orchestral performances of Music of the Spheres, by Josef Strauss, Claude Debussy’s Claire de Lune, and Gustav Holst’s The Planets. The performances includes nine pieces of visual music created by ATEC Animation faculty and students.
ATEC’s Public Interactives Research Lab (PIRL) also created four interactive experiences inspired by the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo Moon Landing. The collaboration between UTD and RSO commemorates the 50th Anniversary of the founding of the University of Texas at Dallas.
This program is made possible thanks to the generous support from the Ann and Charles Eisemann Arts Innovation Initiative.
