Keith Krum is the Planning Projects Manager for the City of Richardson’s Development Services Department. His focus during his over 25 years in city planning has been on long range planning, demographics, research, data analysis, and information management. He is currently overseeing the City’s Envision Richardson Comprehensive Plan Update.

Since Spring 2023, the City of Richardson has been working with residents and stakeholders to create the Envision Richardson Comprehensive Plan.
 
When adopted the Comprehensive Plan will reflect the community’s vision for the future and will serve as a guiding document for land use, property development, and future zoning decisions. It will also inform choices regarding public investments in transportation and other infrastructure enhancements required to support future growth. Active community involvement is vital to this project.
 
The draft plan will be released in early October with three public hearings scheduled for October and November where residents and stakeholders can provide feedback. Following this last round of public input, the City Council is expected to adopt the plan before the end of the year.
