Featuring Bill Kilgore, Strategic Partner, Kilgore Partners, LLC
This overview of the technologies used by the providers of voice and data, mobile, voice and merchant services will provide valuable insights that will help business owners make informed decisions about which providers to choose for their business. You will better understand the strategies that service operators use in pricing products, customer retention, their terms and their overall relationship with customers. The tools presented in this business-focused workshop will help you cut costs and consider the plan that is right for your business.
Bill earned a BA in Psychology and an MBA from Trinity University in San Antonio, and then spent the next 30 years with various telecommunications and high-tech companies. Some large, including Southern and Southwestern Bell, AT&T (aka, Bell Telephone), the former MCI, and Alcatel. The rest were early-stage, pre-IPO companies based in the San Francisco Bay area. In addition to telecommunications, Bill spent some time in technologies adjacent to telecom, including speech recognition (for the company who built Siri), speech analytics, social media analysis, predictive models for enhanced employee hiring methods, and more.
He has held various positions including VP of Sales and Marketing, Director of Global Alliances and Staff liaison to the parent company for the office of the CEO. His current role is his first time being his own boss with Kilgore Partners LLC, where his sole purpose is to assist business owners and managers by analyzing his clients monthly spend on electronic communications and reducing it by acting as the client's agent to secure discounted rates from their vendors on their behalf.
