Learn How to Finance Your Exports and Connect to Global Procurement Opportunities
The U.S. Commercial Service Dallas-Ft. Worth office, in collaboration with the North Texas District Export Council and partners, will host the Global Market Connect: Export Finance and Foreign Government Procurement Conference on June 12, 2018.
The conference brings together experts from both the public and private sectors to discuss resources available to U.S. exporters, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, to finance exports and connect companies to foreign government procurement opportunities.
Experts from the U.S. Commercial Service, SBA, EXIM Bank, Millennium Challenge Corporation, U.S. Trade and Development Agency, and Overseas Private Investment Corporation will highlight resources available to support U.S. exporters. Conference participants will have the opportunity to hear directly from experienced exporters on their experiences utilizing these government agency resources, as they share best practices, important considerations, challenges, and opportunities for companies to successfully expand to their target export markets.
What will be covered:
- How to get paid from your export sales
- How to increase export sales while reducing the risk of nonpayment by your foreign buyers
- U.S. government resources available to support exports
- Tips for winning government procurement in BRICs
- Procurement opportunities
