A study of Richardson’s East Arapaho Transit Oriented Development (TOD) and Innovation District will determine the economic/competitive position and identify opportunities that could one day attract leading-edge anchor institutions and business clusters and revitalize the corridor.

The study will look at work, life and transportation patterns; existing commercial real estate; desired leisure/lifestyle activities; policies needed to drive investment; financing and ease of access to mass transit or “last-mile connectivity.” Highlights of the study’s timeline include several opportunities for public input, including surveys of stakeholders, focus group meetings and two open houses, plus several updates to the City Council.

The study is projected to wrap up by January 2019.
