Researchers seek your input for East Collins/Arapaho Study

The City of Richardson is working on a new vision for the 1,200-acres that creates the heart of the Telecom Corridor® (bordered by Campbell Road to the north, Plano Road to the east, Arapaho Road to the south and US 75 to the west) to reposition the area, possibly as an innovation district and transit-oriented development in proximity to the Arapaho Center DART Station that will be an economic driver within the City and DFW region.

Pop-ups and open houses have kept researchers conducting the study for the East Collins/Arapaho redevelopment area busy. Ongoing research and feedback-gathering with stakeholders and the public is being conducted to ascertain development possibilities within the 1,200-acre area.

A public survey seeking feedback on living/commuting habits and potential use of the East Collins/Arapaho area is available online until June 30; to take the brief survey, click here. The study is anticipated to take approximately 11 months to complete, concluding in January 2019.
