PAM Rehabilitation Hospital of Richardson opens

PAM Rehabilitation Hospital of Richardson opens
“Hospital in a hospital” is part of Post Acute Medical network of hospitals
Post Acute Medical, LLC (PAM), announced today that it has opened PAM Rehabilitation Hospital of Richardson at 401 West Campbell Road. A “hospital in a hospital,” it is located on the fifth floor of the Methodist Campus for Continuing Care.

The 16-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital provides the same comprehensive inpatient and outpatient acute rehabilitation services as nearby PAM Rehabilitation Hospital of Allen, which is located at 1001 Raintree Circle in Allen, Texas. In addition to caring for general rehabilitation diagnoses, such as brain and spinal cord injuries, amputation, hip fractures, and joint replacement, the hospital offers specialized inpatient programs for stroke rehabilitation and amputation.

“We are excited to extend the quality care offered at one of PAM’s top-performing hospitals to the Richardson community,” says Jennifer Beuerlein, who serves as chief executive officer of both hospitals. “Led by Dr. Ivan Figueroa, our specialized treatment team delivers one-on-one individualized therapy that helps speed recovery, prevent hospital readmissions and promote quality outcomes.”

The hospital created 150 new jobs with its opening and will continue to recruit additional clinical staff support as operations ramp up.
