Member profile: Go Gourmet Catering

Is there no better greeting to a meeting than the aroma of award-winning lasagna bolognaise?

Executive Chef Stephen Martin and his wife, Amy, serve that and just about anything else you could imagine through their full-service company, Go Gourmet Catering.

For more than 20 years, the pair has served weddings, training breakfasts, Fortune 500 events and intimate parties. They’ve adapted to COVID-19 precautions with individually packed meals, social distancing and masked servers.

"The cuisine we create really evolves from one simple but important question: what do we like to eat?" said Stephen.

He may be in the kitchen, but Amy is the now-masked face of the business to many. She’s a member of Leadership Richardson Class 36, serves as an ambassador and participates in the Wednesday Business Network meetings.

“Richardson is a great place for business and networking. It’s a very friendly and supportive city for small business,” she said. She serves as an ambassador because she wanted “to welcome new businesses into the city and establish a connection and rapport with new business owners.”

Go Gourmet has created a network of more than 25 purveyors who provide fresh, healthful ingredients.

Their on-line menu says it all: “We believe that food isn't just a way to satiate your hunger; it's a vehicle for our memory to recall wonderful life experiences. With that belief held close to our hearts, we go above and beyond to create menus that speak to our client's palettes and help their event leave a lasting, positive impact on their memories.”
