Trever Rester\, MD\, Methodist Health System\n\nScott Flannery\, CEO of employer & individual operations in North Texas and Oklahoma\, UnitedHealthcare\n\nDr. Alicia Makaye\, president and co-founder\, GXA Network Solutions\n\nStacey Holsinger\, global benefits director\, Texas Instruments\n\nNow more than ever\, physicians are treating patients through online or virtual visits\, allowing patients to be seen from the comfort of their own home or office. This also allows physicians to increase the number of patients they can see in one day\, reduces administrative staff time needed for each office visit\, and decreases the wait time for patients. Overall\, this results in reduced costs for everyone. Telehealth also has created challenges for the healthcare industry\, ranging from legal issues to how healthcare insurers manage the payment process. In this lunchtime presentation\, the panel will address what these changes mean to patients\, healthcare providers\, insurance companies and company insurance plans.\n\n\n\nTrever Rester is an experienced primary care physician who has served the North Texas area since 1998. He is board certified in both internal medicine and pediatrics. As a primary physician\, he brings us his perspective of telemedicine and the future of healthcare. Dr. Rester is a graduate of the McGovern Medical School and the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He joined the Methodist Health System earlier this year.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nScott Flannery is CEO of UHC's employer & individual operations in North Texas and Oklahoma. He's held several leadership roles during his 21-year career at UHC\, including central region growth officer\, sales national practice lead for UMR and vice president of sales and account management.
