DESCRIPTION:To celebrate its 140\,000-square-foot WCU Richardson campus and honor healthcare professionals for their selfless contributions to the community during the pandemic\, WCU-Texas will host a community celebration event on Tuesday\, May 17 from 4-7 p.m. The technologically advanced building\, which opened in late 2021\, is centrally located in the Richardson tech corridor and offers a state-of-the-art simulation center\, larger classrooms\, and dynamic common areas. \n\n			 \n\n			Please join the WCU Board of Trustees\, hospital partners\, business leaders\, education partners\, civic organizations\, WCU students and their families\, and the community at-large. In addition to a ribbon cutting\, valued partner awards will be presented to individuals/organizations who have demonstrated their unwavering commitment to advancing healthcare education. \n\n			 \n\n			The event will offer the opportunity to tour the campus\, listen to live music from local favorite Emerald City and experience delicious food from local restaurants. This family-friendly event also will feature a live broadcast from New Country 96.3.
