For more information on registration please contact Sara Bradley at 972-792-2820.\n\n \n\nEach year this special event honors new teachers entering the Richardson Independent School District (RISD) and demonstrates the business community's support for quality education. \n\n\n\n\n\n \n\nWhy Teach?\n\nFeaturing Florence Shapiro\, former state senator\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\nThere are several ways you can support the New Teachers Luncheon\n\nAttend the luncheon\n\nIndividual registration will begin on Monday\, June 24\n\nMembers - $40\n\nSponsor a teacher - $35\n\nNon - Members - $50\n\nBecome a sponsor\n\nEstablish a reputation as a business that supports education in the community. New Teachers Luncheon sponsors make it possible for the Chamber to host the 400+ new teachers expected this year.\n\nDoctorate Degree - $5\,000 Contact Pam Krause for more information on sponsor benefits\n\nMasters Degree - $2\,500\, Includes 6 luncheon reservations\n\nBachelors Degree - $1\,000\, Includes 4 luncheon reservations\n\nAssociate Degree - $500\, Includes 2 luncheon reservations\n\nDiploma Sponsor - $250\, Includes 1 luncheon reservation\n\nDonate a door prize\n\nAnnually\, Chamber members donate door prizes for the new teachers. This year\, we hope to collect 200 door prizes valued at least $25. Prizes can be anything a teacher might enjoy\, including gift cards. All donations are appreciated. Please make donated gifts appropriate for both male and female teachers. Please include a business card from the donated business or individual.
