Whether you're a seasoned entrepreneur or looking to expand your network\, this weekly event provides a platform for sharing insights and exploring collaborations. Join us for this week's presentation from Kay Walgren with the Richardson Woman's Club. \n\n\n\nRichardson Woman's Club is a nonprofit Club for women that was founded in 1955. Each year\, the Club holds public fundraising events and the profits are returned to the community through scholarships to RISD seniors and grants to agencies that serve the community.  In May 2024\, the Club will hold a garden Festival and Tour on May 4th and the annual Golf Tournament will be held on May 17th at Sherrill Park golf course.\n\n \n\n \n\nBio: I was born and raised in Indiana and received a BS Degree from Indiana University. Moved to Chicago and worked for Heidrick & Struggles\, an executive search firm. Married\, moved to Iowa City and worked in the admissions office. Started a family and was a stay at home mom for 20 years. Moved to Richardson in 1970. I was active in RISD\, Richardson Symphony\, Kappa Delta sorority Alumnae Association and served as President of Family Outreach. Returned to work in 1986 as a legal search consultant until 2015. Joined Richardson Woman's Club in 2016 and serve as Chair of Publicity and Social Media. Member of First Methodist Church\, Waterview Preservation Association\, volunteer for Family Compass and Kappa Delta Alumnae Association. I have 3 children\, a son-in-law a daughter-in law and 5 grandchildren.
