Welcome to Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc., the newest silver member of the President’s Club.

Jacobs is one of the largest, most diverse providers of technical, professional and construction services, including all aspects of architecture, engineering, construction, operations and maintenance, as well as scientific and specialty consulting.

Chamber member Lisa Chill, who has served on the chamber’s Women in Leadership committee is our local rep to this impressive company.

Under the direction of CEO and Chairman Steve Demetriou, Jacobs recently moved its global headquarters from Pasadena, Calif., to downtown Dallas.

"We have more than 50,000 employees and are spread throughout the world," Demetriou told the Dallas Business Journal.“ Dallas fits that culture being globally diverse and for a growing company that's important for the culture."

"This was a great opportunity for Jacobs and for the community to be more aware of Jacobs moving forward," he said. "We are a professional services company that cuts across all design, engineering and construction projects built in the world. We are involved in so many projects."

"We judged the talent pool as being extremely strong and Dallas is geographically central to the rest of our client base. Today, we have 4,500 jobs in Texas and one of our largest bases is in Dallas-Fort Worth. We knew Dallas would be able to attract strong talent in an affordable area."
