Outstanding volunteer service recognized at Chamber’s Annual Meeting

The Richardson Chamber recognized some outstanding members at this year’s annual meeting for their service and dedication to the Chamber in 2016. The choice is rarely an easy one, because the Chamber has so many members who go above and beyond to make our organization successful. This year, the following members were selected as the best of the best.
 
Rookie of the Year
Cory Stevens
Drew’s Realty
Cory has accumulated one of the higher retention call totals in the ambassadors and become a leader within RYP after organizing their build with Habitat for Humanity.

International Ambassador of the Year
Robert Smith
Saville Dodgen, LLP
Robert helped organize the International Concierge Committee and remains its most active member. Saville Dodgen has sponsored all international events in 2016 and the headline sponsor for 2017.

Ambassador of the Year
Bill Schaid
Kiwanis Club of Richardson
Bill earned the most points during the year for making member retention calls, attending ribbon cuttings, greeting at events, etc.

Small Business of the Year
NOAH’s Event Center
Noah’s provides their beautiful facilities to the quarterly Women in Leadership events at no cost.

Volunteer of the Year
Ronda Moreland
RKM Media
Ronda recruited the lieutenant governor, comptroller, and land commissioner, all in the same year, as keynote speakers at our special Public Policy events in 2016.

Committee of the Year
Bowling Committee
Sandee Treptow, Angela Lopez, Adam Keller, Brad Lipton
This team launched a new successful event with less than 6 months to plan.
